Foreign Language Requirement/Placement test

Penn Language Requirement/Placement Test assesses your ability to understand and communicate in a language, as well as your understanding of the basic structure of this language (sentence structure, basic declension and conjugation patterns) and consists of a reading, a grammar and vocabulary, an essay and a speaking/listening section.

Russian Penn Language Requirement/Placement Test is administered at the beginning of the fall semester. In Fall 2021 Russian Placement Test is scheduled on individual basis. Interested students should contact Russian Language Program Coordinator, Dr. Maria Alley (malley@sas).
