Russian Placement Test

If you would like to take the test, please email Djamilia Nazyrova, Acting Russian Language Director, at nazyrova@sas.upenn.edu and include your Penn ID number and Pennkey. You will be invited to our Placement Test 2025 Canvas site. After accepting the Canvas invitation, please fill in the required student background information, as instructed in the corresponding Canvas assignment, at your earliest convenience but no later than 01/23/2025. 

The Placement Test will be held on:
January 24, 9-11 AM. Room: Williams 737. 

This placement test cannot be retaken.

Penn Language Requirement/Placement Test assesses your ability to understand and communicate in a language, as well as your understanding of the basic structure of this language (sentence structure, basic declension and conjugation patterns) and consists of a reading, a grammar and vocabulary, an essay and a speaking/listening section.
