The Russian Language Placement Test assesses your ability to communicate in Russian, as well as your understanding of the language’s basic structure including sentence structure and declension and conjugation patterns. The test consists of grammar and vocabulary, essay, reading, and speaking/listening sections. No preparation is required or recommended, but we suggest being prepared to concentrate on the test to ensure the most accurate results.
Please note that the placement test for the Penn Language Requirement must be taken in person and cannot be retaken.
